Alopecia Areata presents an autobiographically-grounded performance, in which the artist deals with personal emotions and distresses in order to articulate them in a broader social context using a site-specific, minimalistic approach to space. The presence of the body is mediated through sculptural and theatrical devices aimed to represent and surpass the limits between the private and public spheres.
